Developed for maximum performance and ergonomics. Choosing the right axle length according to individual shoe size and foot position ensures a natural foot position and improves power transmission on steep climbs and descents.

Ergonomic Positon
Grip & Surface
The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface allows an ergonomic position on the pedal and creates enormous grip at the same time. To provide a maximum pedalling surface, this closes flush with the pedal axle. This avoids an annoying increase in the pedal surface on the inside of the foot, as occurs with many other flat pedals.

Material
Reliable & Robust
The 5OX flat pedals combines the lightness of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) with the precision of Japanese ball. This high-quality construction is complemented by IGUS friction bushings "Made in Germany", which ensure minimal friction and long-lasting durability.

Reliable and robust
In hard contacts with stones and rocks, the material can give way and can usually withstand more abuse than classic, comparable aluminum platform pedals. For this reason, SQlab relies on composite and does not offer an aluminum version.
Bearings are the most important part for durability – SQlab installed Japanese precision bearings on the outer and bush/slide bearings on the crank arm side.
The three different axle lengths provide a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal: Suitable for larger feet, a V-shaped foot position or larger sit bone distances, which usually require a higher Q-factor.
